Kelly Lowe is Turning Up the Heat on the Dundas Studio Tour, October 4th and 5th

Kelly Lowe creates the awards for numerous organizations including the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, McMaster University, Hamilton Rotary Clubs, Global Spectrum Entertainment, MacLean’s Magazine, and Tourism Hamilton, amongst many others.  In fact she creates awards for organizations throughout the entire country.

This October, Kelly Lowe will be a guest artist on the 2014 Dundas Studio Tour which runs Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th.

“Glass is an interesting and exciting medium.  It seems fragile but in fact it’s incredibly strong, versatile, and malleable with infinite colour variations and possibilities,’ she says, adding that some of her current favourites are her new cylindrical bubble vases, and bubble plates.

For the Turning Up the Heat themed 2014 Dundas Studio Tour, Kelly is creating selections of pendants, vases, bowls, plates, wine stoppers, bees, and assorted colourful ornaments.

The Dundas Studio Tour runs Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 from 10 am to 5 pm daily, and features thirty artists at seven different artist studios, where you can en enjoy the art, food samples and table-setting inspiration of twenty-seven artists.

Admission to the Dundas Studio Tour is free and each studio offers a draw for a special prize.
