On Sunday, May 23rd ,Dundas celebrated the 150th anniversary of Victoria Day Fireworks in the Dundas Driving Park. This year, for the first time, the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club partnered with the City of Hamilton to deliver the Victoria Day Fireworks and what an amazing event it was! Both the day and the show were equally spectacular! The success of the Victoria Day Fireworks was due to the combined efforts of many and Dundas Valley Sunrise would like to take the opportunity to thank the following: all the tremendous staff at the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Police Services, Joe Raston of Victory Fireworks, the Salvation Army and the kids at the ROUTES drop-in centre, the folks at Waterman Inc. for watering the roof and tennis courts, Glentel Radios, Astral Media, CHCH News, SNAP Hamilton, the Hamilton Spectator, Hamilton Community News, Rotarians, the many other volunteers and family members, and the wonderful audience. Thanks to you all for helping Dundas Valley Sunrise put on a great show and for being so generous in your donation of two van loads of food for the Dundas Food Bank and also your monetary support of future Rotary projects in Dundas.
Sincerely,
Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club
