The 2009 Dundas United Way Committee held a Donor Reception in mid November at Valley City Manufacturing to give Dundas residents the opportunity to meet Len Lifchus the new CEO of the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton, and to give donors an update on the 2009 Campaign status.

At the reception, Dundas dentist, Dr. Anil Bhalla, was presented with a United Way donor plaque to recognize his ongoing contribution to the 2009 United Way Campaign.

Dr. Bhalla, whose dental office is located at 33 King Street East, is donating a loonie a patient visit to the 2009 United Way Campaign.

Said Dr. Bhalla, “I have been practicing dentistry in Dundas for five years and see this as a way to give back to the community. The United Way does tremendous work and funds some 90 community programs in Hamilton and Burlington. I invite other dentists and doctors to support the United Way campaign through the ‘loonie a patient’ program.’”
