Lake Avenue School Students Greet Olympic Torch Relay in Stoney Creek

At the Queenston Road and Centennial Parkway location on the Olympic Torch Relay on Sunday December 20, a series of welcoming activities were planned by Eastgate Square and mall tenants.
Fortino‘s generously provided complimentary hot chocolate and coffee to the waiting crowd and 50 students from Lake Avenue Public School took part in an Olympic Hoola Hoop Ring Contest. Divided into ten groups, each group made the five Olympic rings from hoola hoops painted blue, yellow, black, green and red.
