Eastgate Square presents the ever popular family hit movie E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial.On Friday, August 27th at 8:30 p.m.
E.T. will be shown on the “big screen at dusk” (8:30 p.m.) just outside Eastgate’s Food Court entrance (Queenston Road and adjacent to the Bus Pad). E.T. tells the story of Elliott, a lonely boy who befriends a friendly extraterrestrial, “E.T.”, who is stranded on Earth.
Admission to E.T. is FREE with a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army food bank for those in need in our community. Just drop off your donation in the many food barrels located in the Food Court that night.
With each food donation movie goers receive a Free Ballot and five lucky winners will have a chance to win a $100 Eastgate Square Gift Card. In addition, the first two hundred kids that donate a food item will receive a 1GB, USB Port Silicone Bracelet just in time for back to school.
Seating is limited to 500. For late supper and movie munching needs the Eastgate Food Court will be open until 10:30 p.m. Temporary washrooms will be available upstairs adjacent to the Food Court.
