Viola Mueller and Allyson Wenzowski of DesignSmarts + Publicity Works, nominated in the category of Rookie of the Year for their project at Hamilton International Airport
At the Tourism Hamilton Awards held on March 25th at LIUNA Station in Hamilton, DesignSmarts + Publicity Works received Rookie of the Year nomination medals for the project at Hamilton International Airport, Sense of Place, Seeing the Unexpected, the Bruce Trail and Beyond.
The project features the work of Hamilton area artists such as Duncan Aird, Scott Barnim, Magda Buist, Paull Rodrigue, Lynn Macintyre, Louise McCann, Chris McGregor, Jason Freiburger, Barbara Freeman, Shirley Elford, Shu-Chen Cheng, Paul Simon, Janusz Wrobel, Stephen Landers and Donn Zver amongst others.
Some 500,000 passengers travel through the airport each year and now see the exhibition
