Mark your calendars for the upcoming First Annual Dundas Valley Fine Art Show on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25 at the Dundas Valley School of Art!

 The Dundas Valley Fine Art Show features the art of seven of Hamilton’s leading artists:  E. Robert Ross, Guennadi Kalinine, Stephen Landers, Paul Simon, Mark Strutt, Les Drysdale, and Ward Shipman, plus internationally-recognized antiquarian and art appraiser, Bert Dorpmans.            

Said show organizer, photographer Stephen Landers of Landers Creative Collections,  “We all know each other and are good friends, and have been considering a group show for quite some time.  We all work full-time as artists in the Hamilton area.  For example, Guennadi Kalinine, Ward Shipman, and Les Drysdale all teach at the Dundas Valley School of Art, Mark Strutt has opened the popular Focus Gallery on James Street North, E. Robert Ross is a leading painter of the Dundas Valley landscape, Paul Simon’s panoramic black-and-white photographs of Dundurn Castle have become iconic images of the historic site, and Bert Dorpmans is a top expert on Canadian and European art provenance. “           

The First Annual Dundas Valley Fine Art Show runs Saturday, November 24, 12 noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 25, 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the Dundas Valley School of Art (DVSA) Loft.  Admission is the show is free.
