Dundas United Way Committee presents cheque from the X-Treme Golf Classic United Way fundraiser
On Thursday, June 24, members of the Dundas United Way committee presented a cheque for $8,200 to the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton. The cheque presentation amount was raised through the Committee’s X-Treme Golf Classic held at the Dundas Golf Club in late April.
In 2009-2010 the Dundas United Way Committee raised approximately $12,000 for the United Way Campaign through three successful fundraising events: the Parkside and Highland High School’s Battle of the Bands held in conjunction with Dundas Community Services, a Valentine’s Dinner at Café Troy, and the X-Treme Golf Classic.
